National Solidarity: The First Step Toward Economic Prosperity
Tehran – Yaghoub Soleimani, Deputy for Cultural and Educational Affairs at the Martyrs and Veterans Foundation, stated during the first International Conference on Commercial Economy Thought that since the beginning of the Revolution, enemies have sought to undermine the country’s livelihood and production. However, sacrifice and national unity have formed a strong barrier against these plots.
Soleimani made these remarks during the conference, which was held on Tuesday morning, December 23, at the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture. He noted that this conference represents an important first step in fostering a spirit of dedication in the fields of economy and production.
He added that this year’s slogan, “Investment and Production,” reflects the importance of the veterans’ community, which serves as a hub of selflessness and sacrifice, and that the Islamic Republic’s resilience against global inequalities and injustices stems from this spirit of dedication and perseverance.
The Deputy also referred to enemy attempts to weaken the foundations of the system in the economic arena, citing the recent 12-day conflict. He said that the enemies had been planning it for years, but national unity and the sacrifices of the people prevented them from achieving their goals.
He explained that the enemies’ current focus is on people’s livelihoods, and that economic actors rooted in sacrifice and selflessness can play a pivotal role in countering these plots.
Soleimani also expressed hope that the establishment of a permanent secretariat for the conference would help resolve economic challenges and strengthen national cohesion, ultimately contributing to the prosperity of the country’s economy.
