Israeli troops fire at Lebanese farmers

Navideshahed- The Israeli regime’s troops have fired gunshots at farmers in south Lebanon, with no causalities or injuries reported.

“Israeli troops opened fire at four farmers in the southern village of Khyam at 5:30 p.m. [Saturday] but no casualties were reported,”? a Lebanese army statement issued Saturday said.
An army patrol immediately arrived at the scene and took the necessary measures, the statement said.
On Thursday, Israeli soldiers kidnapped five Lebanese shepherds from south Lebanon's Shebaa Farms but released them later the same day.
In January, an Israeli army unit crossed the technical fence near the southern village of Mais al-Jabal in Marjayoun and tossed a smoke grenade causing a small fire in the fields.
The move prompted the Lebanese army and UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to increase their deployment in the area.
The Israeli army have repeatedly crossed the border fence, causing panic among farmers who were picking olives in south Lebanon.
The UN peacekeeping forces were deployed along the border after the 34-day war in 2006 which followed a massive Israeli aggression against Lebanon, killing nearly 1,200 mostly civilians in the Arab nation, and over 160 Israeli aggressors.
